Inclusions
- The airport transfer on the first and last day is based on one group departure transfer. Private transfers can be purchased no later than final payment if requested.
- The flights between Cairo/Luxor – Luxor/Cairo are included.
- The flight from Cairo to Amman is included in the cost.
- Passport details are mandatory at time of deposit. (Passengers Full First, Middle & Last Name, Passport Number, Nationality, Gender, and Date of Birth) This information is required for advanced hotel check-ins and to book internal flights.
- US passport holders require a visa to enter Egypt and Jordan.
- Cruise itineraries on the Nile may vary occasionally, according to seasonal circumstances.
- Abu Simbel tour by air is included in the cost.
- WiFi on the cruise is not included and available for purchase.
- Drinks on the 7 night ship: Complimentary water, tea or coffee with included lunches and dinners. 2 drinks (local wines/beer/soft drink) with included dinners. Outside of the 2 drinks included at dinner any additional drinks will be on a tab that guests can pay at the end of the trip.

ITINERARY
Day 1 – CAIRO AT LEISURE
Your private chauffeur awaits to take you to your Pyramid view room at Cairo’s five-star Mena House Hotel. Conclude your day toasting to your Egypt luxury tour.

Journey into the ancient world with your Egyptologist. Step up close to the Pyramid of King Zoser, the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This evening, enjoy a mesmerizing Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids.

Visit the Alabaster Mosque and the Citadel of Salah El-Din. Tempt your senses at Khan El Khalili bazaar and view treasures recovered from the Tomb of Tutankhamun at the Old Egyptian Museum.

Delve into Egypt’s history in Karnak. Stroll the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes to the columns of the Hypostyle Hall. Board the River Tosca for your luxury Nile cruise.

Day 10 – ESNA TO LUXOR
A local historian unveils Egypt’s treasures at Esna Temple before you set sail to Luxor. Enjoy your last evening aboard the River Tosca.

The landscape of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has changed very little in 2,000 years. On arrival at Amman airport, you are transferred to your hotel to relax and settle in.

Continue to Mount Nebo, one of the most revered holy sites of Jordan, where Moses is said to have stood and seen before him the Promised Land. At Madaba, visit the famous Greek Orthodox Church of St. George with its amazing 6th century mosaic map depicting the entire Holy Land, stretching from Jordanand Palestine in the north, to Egypt in the south. Follow the King’s Highway to visit Shobak, an authentic 12th century crusader fortress, perched on the side of a rocky mountain. Admire the towers and Arabic calligraphy on the external walls before stepping inside to discover the original Crusader chapel, palace complex, and even a set of secret passages! Later, head south for one of the highlights of your journey: the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra, voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

This day is devoted to the beautiful ‘rose-red city, half as old as time’. You enter this lost city through a narrow gorge, the Siq, with walls that rise up to 200 metres. Emerge from the path to see the magnificent Treasury, carved out of solid rock and standing over 40 metres high. Wind your way through the canyon to explore the ancient tombs and the Roman Amphitheatre, which once seated 3,000 spectators. Tonight,dine with locals in a stunning backdrop at the Ammarin desert camp.

We make our way back to Amman stopping at the Dead Sea for a quick soak. Set in a beautiful and dramatic landscape, the Dead Sea is famous for its mineral-rich waters. Afterwards, continue to Amman joining a guided sightseeing experience highlighting the city’s history, architecture and culture. Tonight, join a lively dinner to celebrate the end of your Jordanian adventures.
